Officedesign for Lawtree. A not so ordinary office for a young team of lawyers. The design approach is formal yet different; balanced roughness. We renovated the the existing concrete structure and we added other industrial elements. Like the glass brick wall, that separates the meeting rooms from the entrance area, and the concrete tiling.

Materialisation in this project is central. The concrete tile is a visual extension of the footpath and in doing so; inviting visitors in. The wood okume panelling and cabinetry adds warmth to the sopace. The majority of technical elements is left bare to heighten the space as well as enhance the industrial vibe.

The roughness is balanced with 'soft' materials, for acoustics as well as aestetics. The meetingrooms are fitted with sisal carpet and curtains. The overall ceiling has an acoustic spray plaster with an offset. The fiberglass counter has showy curves.
