A Perch in the City. In this compact Brussels apartment we reconceived the kitchen as an elevated observatory — a bird’s nest that overlooks and connects with the living space. Designed for a creative client, the intervention brings together material warmth, spatial clarity, and programmatic density.

Wood panelling wraps the walls and ceiling, defining the kitchen as a distinct volume while adding texture and acoustic softness. Glass cabinetry introduces a reflective counterpoint, subtly echoing the light blue of the lower cupboards and enhancing the space’s brightness.
