Building a house for friends is very rewarding. As is this house we renovated thoroughly. The house had undergone some changes in the past decades. We stripped it down to its original volume by tearing down a porch without architectural qualities. During the demolishing works we discovered a beautiful concrete ceiling, which we had sandblasted and treated. The curved walls were already part of the houses DNA and adds softness. We elevated the living area to enhance the connection with the garden as well as the see-trhoug fireplace. In the fireplace we integrated small light niches in the same texture as this element.
